Starting from an application that had all the features it was envisioned to have users mainly expressed confusion when entering the application. With no clear idea why the application was performing so poorly the project involved everything from identifying issues to reorganising and rethinking features for a more comprehensive and united user experience. After aligning application specific terms, interaction patterns, balancing progressive disclosure and a much clearer visual hierarchy user tests showed that users intuitively understood and discovered much of the core functionality of the application with little introduction. While also providing exciting insight in how we could reach even higher levels of intuitive interaction and making the broad range of resources have even lighter mental load.
